What are the technical requirements for using Voicepoint Helium®?
Voicepoint Helium® requires a stable internet connection and a locally installed program (client). The speech recognition is processed in the cloud, however.
Is it possible to integrate it into my existing practice or clinic information system?
Yes, Voicepoint Helium® can be integrated into most popular clinic and practice information systems. We would be happy to advise you if you have any specific requirements or questions about compatibility.
Does Voicepoint Helium® also work without an internet connection?
No, a consistently stable internet connection is required to use Voicepoint Helium®.
How long does the installation and training take?
Voicepoint Helium® is usually installed within five working days of placing the order.
How will I be notified of Voicepoint Helium® updates?
You will be informed of any relevant changes via Voicepoint News.
Which input devices can I use with Voicepoint Helium®?
The following devices are compatible with Voicepoint Helium®:
- Philips SpeechMike (wired or wireless, pushbuttons only)
- OM SYSTEM RecMic (pushbuttons only)
What is included in Voicepoint Helium® support?
Support includes all software updates and upgrades as well as technical support via remote maintenance, telephone and e-mail.
Licenses
Is there a minimum number of Voicepoint Helium® licenses required?
No, there is no minimum number. Individual licenses or a small number of licenses are no problem.
Do I have a notice period for Voicepoint Helium®?
Yes, notice of termination must be provided in writing no later than two months before the license expires.
Are there any additional costs for the license?
Yes, input devices and services such as installation and training are charged separately.
Data protection and security
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored in a Swiss cloud based in Zurich in compliance with the GDPR and revFADP.
What happens if I have a weak internet connection or none at all?
It is not possible to use Voicepoint Helium® in this case. A stable internet connection is required.
