Frequently asked questions

Hardware

Mobile dictation devices are ideal for on the go. They store dictations directly on the device and offer a high level of recording quality and ease of use.
Fixed microphones are used at the workstation and are connected to the PC via a USB cable. They are particularly suitable for dictating with speech recognition and often offer additional controloptions for convenient use.

Both brands offer high-quality devices; the choice between the two brands depends on user preference.

Choosing the right voice recorder depends on your individual needs and habits. If you are already familiar with the traditional devices, it may make sense to continue using them since you are already familiar with their use. If you prefer maximum flexibility, we recommend a smartphone solution. With such a solution, you can record dictations in any location and send recordings directly – anytime and anywhere.
On the other hand, if you prefer a separate but still mobile device, a classic digital dictation device with a docking station may be the right choice for you.

Yes, as long as the dictations are still on the device, you can edit or add to them in a targeted manner both on traditional devices and in the app you are using.

Technical details, integration and support

The transmission method for the dictations depends on the device used. In the case of wired dictation microphones, the transfer is usually made directly to the PC via a USB connection. In the case of mobile solutions, the dictations are downloaded to the PC via an app or a docking station.
