Yes, you can combine Winscribe with Dragon Medical One to enjoy the benefits of integrated recognition.
Can I also use Winscribe without speech recognition?
Yes, Winscribe can also be used without speech recognition. In this case, the office receives the dictation as an audio file for transcription.
In which operating model can Winscribe be operated?
Winscribe can be operated in the cloud.
Do I need any special prior knowledge to use Winscribe?
No, no special knowledge is required for Winscribe. After installation, you will be given a personalized introduction by our team.
Technical details, integration and support
How long does it take to put Winscribe into operation?
Commissioning usually takes place within ten working days of placing the order.
What technical requirements are required?
To use Winscribe in the cloud, all you need is a stable internet connection. In the case of a local installation, we would be happy to advise you individually on the technical requirements.
Which input devices can I use with Winscribe?
The following devices are compatible with Winscribe:
- Philips Digital Pocket Memo 8100, 8200 and 8500
- Olympus DS-9000 and DS-9500
- OM SYSTEM DS-9100
- Philips SpeechMike Premium or Air
Is Winscribe compatible with macOS?
No, Winscribe is not compatible with macOS. On macOS, we recommend using Voicepoint Xenon® Flow.
What is included in Winscribe support?
Support includes all software updates and upgrades as well as technical support via remote maintenance, telephone and e-mail.
Licenses
Is there a minimum number of Winscribe licenses required?
No, there is no minimum number. Individual licenses or a small number of licenses are no problem.
Do I have a notice period?
Yes, notice of termination of a Winscribe license must be provided in writing no later than two months before the license expires.
Are there any additional costs for the license?
Yes, input devices and service costs such as installation and training will be charged separately.
Data protection and security
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored in a Swiss cloud based in Zurich in compliance with the GDPR and revFADP.
Who has access to my data?
Only you and the persons you have authorized have access to your data. Third-party providers are not granted access.
What happens if I have a weak internet connection or none at all?
It is not possible to use Winscribe in this case. A stable internet connection is required.
