Thanks to speech recognition, both the quality and quantity of my reports has increased. The level of accuracy was very high from the outset.
Thanks to the web-based Voicepoint Device Administrator, voice recorders no longer have to be configured by users on site. It is also much easier to manage an employee’s change of department.
Speech recognition reduces the time needed for administrative tasks considerably and leaves more time for patient-related tasks. We estimate the increase in productivity when generating reports to be around 60%.
Voicepoint User Loader makes user administration easier, since master data is automatically created when an employee joins and assigned to the correct departments.
Integration into the hospital information system simplifies work and saves time over manually searching for patients. In the radiology department, we have integrated speech recognition into the IT system and in the near future, integration into the lab information system will follow in pathology.
Thanks to the Voicepoint Firebox software module, users can log in to use speech recognition from any computer with their own personal username and access their personal settings. Specialised vocabularies, a high level of accuracy and freely configurable text modules all help medical staff to generate reports faster and more efficiently.

Thanks to Dragon Medical, I was able to significantly free up my working day, I’m actually saving 45 minutes per day.
I can dictate in front of my patients in real time, which improves the quality of the conversation and enables me to record information even more accurately. All the data is immediately available in the system and colleagues can access complete patient and case data at once. The system also makes my daily correspondence easier since I can use speech recognition not only in the hospital information system but in all office applications too. I also generate e-mail much faster than before.
Our doctors are very happy with the new system because it lets them organise work processes more efficiently and leaves more time for patients.
As a result of the new system, we have been able to offer 1,000 additional consultations in the last six months at the Clinic for Gynaecology and Obstetrics. This is an outstanding number for us.
The amount of time saved by secretarial staff is impressive, since employees can quickly reassign dictations in the event of unforeseen absence and workloads can be regularly organised.
The solution is very intuitive and user-friendly. In addition to medical documentation, I can complete my correspondence and e-mail using speech recognition, even from home.

Ever since using Dragon Medical Direct speech recognition, I’ve been able to create documents more efficiently by dictating right in front of my patients. Medical reports and electronic correspondence can be generated extremely quickly and I can spend much more time on my patients. I appreciate the flexibility that Dragon Medical Direct offers and the fact that I can dictate at the office or from home.

Personally speaking, the changeover to the new voice recorder was hardly noticeable. The recorder itself is very ergonomically designed and easy to use. In combination with speech recognition, there was already a ‘wow’ effect because it took our document creation process to a new level. I’m very happy with our solution.
One major change since introducing fully integrated digital dictation is that print-outs and paper consumption have drastically reduced. Dictations now arrive safely on the PCs of secretarial staff without the risk of cassettes being lost. This also means texts are transcribed more quickly.
The dictation management solution was optimised by additional software provided by Voicepoint and integrated into hospital information system. The dictation solution now meets all our individual requirements and has improved communication between our doctors and clerical staff enormously. The transmitted data can now also be checked for completeness much better than was possible with the old system.
The voice recorder was easy to use after just a short while of getting used to it and can be operated with one hand.
The fact that we now dictate electronically has advantages, such as eliminating the need to physically transfer files to secretarial staff.

Since using the Voicepoint Device Administrator, the amount of time needed for managing voice recorders has been reduced considerably. Recorders are configured easily via web browsers and in the event of a configuration change, the device can now stay with the user and doesn’t need to be brought to the ICT department.
Our power users can now make short-term adjustment themselves if a type of report or an author is missing on the device or needs to be replaced. Another advantage is the seamless interaction with Winscribe, meaning that data only has to be recorded and maintained in one place. We are very happy with Voicepoint Device Administrator and feel that Voicepoint AG is on our side as a reliable partner.

The Winscribe dictation management solution is very stable and we have little to do with it! Our lawyers and secretarial staff are very happy.
External dictation has become a lot easier. I dictate a lot at weekends and sending everything off using my laptop is no problem. It’s quick and works well.
