Now Winscribe is being replaced by Voicepoint Xenon® Dictation: Voicepoint Xenon® Dictation brings together the much-loved features of Winscribe with numerous optimizations in a modern, cloud-based solution – and it can be combined with speech recognition and the option of receiving a structured summary directly from the patient consultation.

So you can maintain your familiar dictation workflow, manage users, licenses and recordings centrally on the web, and enjoy even greater flexibility.

What is Voicepoint Xenon® Dictation?

Voicepoint Xenon® Dictation is the central component of the Voicepoint Xenon® platform and includes all the functions of Winscribe. The solution provides centralized management of your users, workflows (groups, report types and fields), licenses and dictation recordings. You can make recordings directly on your smartphone or tablet and then process and manage them via the web-based platform – simple, secure and accessible from anywhere. Voicepoint Xenon® Dictation brings 20 years of experience in speech-based medical documentation to a modern platform.

Technical details, integration and support

To use Winscribe in the cloud, all you need is a stable internet connection. In the case of a local installation, we would be happy to advise you individually on the technical requirements.

The following devices are compatible with Winscribe:

No, Winscribe is not compatible with macOS. On macOS, we recommend using Voicepoint Xenon® Dictation.

Support includes all software updates and upgrades as well as technical support via remote maintenance, telephone and e-mail.

Licenses

No, there is no minimum number. Individual licenses or a small number of licenses are no problem.

Yes, notice of termination of a Winscribe license must be provided in writing no later than two months before the license expires.

Yes, input devices and service costs such as installation and training will be charged separately.

Data protection and security

Your data is stored in a Swiss cloud based in Zurich in compliance with the GDPR and revFADP.

Only you and the persons you have authorized have access to your data. Third-party providers are not granted access.

It is not possible to use Winscribe in this case. A stable internet connection is required.
