Winscribe Dictation 5.0 Update 1
With the latest Winscribe 5.0 Update 1 release, Nuance takes a further step with its market leading digital dictation solution and introduces enhanced document and workflow management functionalities. As a proven solution for combining digital dictation, dictation management, transcription and speech recognition into one, the server-based Winscribe solution ensures efficient documentation processes with a great deal of flexibility. Winscribe Dictation 5.0 Update 1 offers the following new features and resolves the following issues:
New features:
- For jobs that have the status “Waiting for text editor” or “Completed”, the first 15 seconds can now be listened to via a preview button.
- For speech recognition jobs, font and font size selection is now available in the speech recognition correction form.
- SQL Server 2019 support
- Support for Dragon Medical Practice Edition 4.3 for foreground and background speech recognition
- Support for Radiology speech recognition context for foreground and background speech recognition with Dragon Medical Direct.
- Support for Professional and Legal speech recognition contexts for foreground and background speech recognition with Dragon Professional and Dragon Legal.
Resolved issues:
- Opening job drafts with speech recognition in Author Plus has been optimized.
- Formatting of speech recognition templates in Author Plus is now correctly transferred to another application via copy/paste command.
- The display of the dictation window in Author Plus and the speech recognition form in the client has been optimized when multiple monitors are in use.
