Voicepoint implements dictation management solution for the University Hospital of Geneva

A few years ago, the University Hospital of Geneva (HUG) embarked on replacing its analogue dictation equipment with a digital dictation solution. HUG recently opted to introduce the Winscribe dictation management solution across its hospitals, equipping around 1,500 workstations in total. Thus, the country’s second largest hospital is now joining its largest hospital, the University Hospital of Bern, in using Winscribe for centralised dictation management. Read more

Nuance Dragon Medical Practice Edition Nuance has launched a new version of its speech recognition software for the medical sector – Dragon Medical Practice Edition 3, or DMPE 3 for short. The current version is available in German and English. On first glance, users will spot changes to the design. As with Dragon NaturallySpeaking 13, the Dragon bar has been completely revamped. Voicepoint implements dictation management solution in Ticino-based hospitals

Ente Ospedaliero Cantonale Ticino With 4 regional hospitals and 2 specialist clinics, the hospital group of Ticino (EOC) is the canton’s largest healthcare provider. Over the last few years, EOC has been replacing analogue dictation equipment with digital systems. Following a tender procedure, dictation management software was evaluated to standardise the dictation workflow and manage it from a central location. Upon completion of the procedure, Voicepoint was awarded the project and by introducing Winscribe, dictation can be managed comprehensively at all sites operated by the hospital group. Read more
