Dragon Medical Practice Edition 4.2 from Nuance is a new version of its speech recognition solution for healthcare professionals.This version resolves some technical issues, including those associated with the VitoMed program, as well as introducing a number of minor updates.

Version 4 continues to build on the newly developed speech recognition engine based on deep learning technology, a subset of artificial intelligence, allowing for a faster and much more accurate result than previous versions. Deep learning tries to emulate the human brain, by analyzing and replicating patterns in the speech process. This technology allows the solution to adapt faster to the user’s voice pattern and intonation. The ambient noise around the user and in his environment is also now calculated and cancelled out so that it does not affect the result.

This new version, as well as an upgrade path, are now available in French, German and English and can be purchased in our Online Shop. Customers with a current upgrade contract can obtain the new version free of charge on request.
