Voicepoint implements dictation management solution for the University Hospital of Geneva

A few years ago, the University Hospital of Geneva (HUG) embarked on replacing its analogue dictation equipment with a digital dictation solution. HUG recently opted to introduce the Winscribe dictation management solution across its hospitals, equipping around 1,500 workstations in total. Thus, the country’s second largest hospital is now joining its largest hospital, the University Hospital of Bern, in using Winscribe for centralised dictation management. Read more

Nevertheless there is a certain degree of unwillingness to introduce Smartphones as working equipment in hospitals. In order to identify any undesirable developments at an early stage, the research institute gfs.bern has been conducting annual representative surveys with hospital doctors on behalf of the Swiss Medical Association (FMH) since 2011.
