The latest versions of the Olympus digital dictation devices are setting a new standard in terms of audio recording. The latest DS-9000 and DS-9500 both have dual integrated intelligent microphones providing outstanding audio recording and offering the highest level of audio needed for speech recognition, even in busy and loud environments.

Nothing changes with the proven ease-of-use of the DS-7000 slide switch, which is again available on the DS-9000 series. These devices are all equipped with a fluid and ergonomically designed slide switch, which lays perfectly in the users hand allowing him to access all the important dictation features with one hand. Device and file encryption and security is a standard part of the solution, with diverse options that can be activated. The provided docking station allows for quick data transfer and charging of the device.

The DS-9500 model offers a WiFi audio data transfer based option as well. Both devices are supported in the Voicepoint Device Administrator (VPDA) as of version v2.0.3045. The devices can be used without the VPDA in Winscribe, as of v4.2.8.
